Sugar Free Spiced Almonds

"my dh loves sugar spiced nuts but is diabetic...so we came up with this. Based on a recipe from AllRecipes for pecans!"

  • 1 lb raw almonds
  • 13 cup Stevia Truvia
  • 1 12 tablespoons Stevia Truvia
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 12 teaspoon salt

directions

  • Preheat oven to 250 f.
  • Line cookie sheet with non stick foil.
  • In stand mixer, with wire attachment, whip egg white and water til very frothy.
  • Mix in truvia, salt and cinnamon.
  • On low speed, mix in almonds.
  • Spread nuts on prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes - stirring every 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Cool - enjoy.
