Glazed Ham Steaks

ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple slices
- 2 lbs boneless fully cooked ham steaks (2 steaks)
- 1⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 4 maraschino cherries
directions
- Drain pineapple, reserving 1 tablespoon juice; set pineapple aside.
- Cut each ham steak in half; place on an ungreased baking pan.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard and reserved juice.
- Spread over ham.
- Top with pineapple and cherries.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until heated through.

OMGoodness!!! I made 5 ham steaks this way for my parents and 5 year old (ommitting the cherries, because I didn't have any) and honestly, I could have made 5 more and not had leftovers. This went over very very well, even for my non-ham eating mom. :D I have 2 more lbs of ham steaks just waiting for mother's day. hehe! Thanks so much for the EXTRA perfect idea. And, just for kicks, I'll tell you, I made sweet potatoes with honey butter and salads with homemade bleu cheese dressing to go along with it. A total success!
