directions

  • Drain pineapple, reserving 1 tablespoon juice; set pineapple aside.
  • Cut each ham steak in half; place on an ungreased baking pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard and reserved juice.
  • Spread over ham.
  • Top with pineapple and cherries.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until heated through.

  3. Very, very nice! So easy to put together and wonderful flavors. We really enjoyed this. I know we'll be having this many more times. The pineapple is so nice with the ham. And it smelled to wonderful while it was in the oven!!!
     
  4. OMGoodness!!! I made 5 ham steaks this way for my parents and 5 year old (ommitting the cherries, because I didn't have any) and honestly, I could have made 5 more and not had leftovers. This went over very very well, even for my non-ham eating mom. :D I have 2 more lbs of ham steaks just waiting for mother's day. hehe! Thanks so much for the EXTRA perfect idea. And, just for kicks, I'll tell you, I made sweet potatoes with honey butter and salads with homemade bleu cheese dressing to go along with it. A total success!
